Dear Partner,

The LORD has instructed me to dedicate the next few months’ letters to the subject of prayer. Our entire lives as believers should be centered around prayer—learning to communicate with God and hearing His voice.
All prayer must be based on God’s WORD, because His WORD, the Bible, is God speaking to us. So, prayer that brings results must be based on God’s WORD. Always start with God’s WORD, which is the answer, instead of just looking at the problem. Find out first what it has to say about your situation. Don’t go by what you think it says. Find the actual scriptures. Then, pray those. Always begin with The WORD. Make it your final authority. Look at 1 John 5:14-15: “This is the confidence [or the Faith foundation—what is underneath our Faith] that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” God’s WORD is His will. He doesn’t say one thing and will another. That would be a lie, and it’s impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:17-18). His covenant promises to us are blood-backed by the shed blood of His own Son!
Once you know what The WORD actually says about your situation, begin the application of Faith, and speak only what God says about it from now on. Hold onto your confession of Faith because Faith-filled words dominate the laws of death. This whole planet operates on a system of words. God created it with His words. So stand firm in your Faith. Speak His WORD with confidence. When you know that God never fails, and His WORD never fails, you can stand without wavering. Hebrews 6:13-16, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, says:
- And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.
- Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of Faith in Him].
- For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
- Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].
Begin to praise God and worship Him for your answer. Start rejoicing by Faith, and see yourself with it. Act as though it were already done. I mean, go to bed at night thinking about it and praising God: “Oh, glory to God! It’s wonderful to be well.” Or “Thank You, LORD, it’s so wonderful to be debt free—to have my needs met and my bills paid!” What are you doing? You’re applying your Faith and applying thanksgiving and praise where the devil will get out of your way (Psalm 8:2).
Remember, Faith is NOW. “I have it NOW!” Faith is never in the future. When it is, it won’t work. “I’ll have it someday” is not Faith. Hebrews 11:1 in the AMPC is a picture of what real Bible Faith looks like:
- Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [Faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Refuse to allow doubt or any fear to enter your consciousness. The lie of the devil is to bring fear: “You’ll never make it,” “There’s no way out,” “You can’t do it,” “You’re too weak,” “Those other folks do it because they’re stronger than you,” “You’re the wrong color,” “You don’t have the right education….” The same lies every day to everyone. The devil can sometimes even work in the area of dreams, saying you don’t have it. BUT THE WORD, WHICH IS ALWAYS YES AND AMEN, ON THE OTHER HAND. IS SAYING THAT YOU DO! You, dear Partner, are in the middle. You are the deciding, or establishing witness, of what will happen in your life in 2026, the Year of the Big Fix. Decide to speak words of life, words of Faith, over your situation. In Matthew 18:19-20 in the AMPC, Jesus said: “Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven. For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.”
Now let’s look in Ephesians 6:10-13, AMPC:
- In conclusion, be strong in The LORD [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].
- Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
- For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
- Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Now Romans 8:25-27, AMPC:
- But if we hope for what is still unseen by us, we wait for it with patience and composure.
- So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
- And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes and pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to and in harmony with God’s will.
We’re still talking about prayer that changes things. There are many kinds of prayer. But keep in mind, prayer changes things, not God. God and His WORD never change! Psalm 119:89 in the AMPC says: “Forever, O LORD, Your WORD is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens].”
How long is it settled? It’s settled forever in heaven. But the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to see to it that it comes to pass in the earth as believers stand on His WORD. Jesus said in Matthew 6:10: “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as in heaven.” Make a note in your Bible like I have in mine: “The Bible says it! I believe it! And that settles it!”
No one can fight thoughts with thoughts. You have to fight thoughts with words. Think His words and say them by Faith, until His words become your thoughts. That’s how you renew your mind. It’s an ongoing thing.
Matthew 6:30-31, AMPC: “But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little Faith? Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear?” Jesus said, “O you of little Faith.” Little Faith gives rise to anxious saying. Once a thought is spoken, the “master spirits” mentioned in Ephesians 6:12, AMPC, get involved because those words are filled with fear power. Words of fear, doubt and unbelief will dominate the words of life.
Let’s review for a moment. First: Dwell on THE ANSWER instead of the problem. Second: Refuse to accept anything against what The WORD says about you and your receiving. Once you’ve made a quality decision to stand in Faith, you can mark it down: Most people will try to talk you out of your stand of Faith on The WORD. But lay hold of the image of the hope that is set before you. Lay hold of the picture of that victory, and don’t let those naysayers and ugly talkers talk you out of your Faith and victory! See yourself succeeding and not failing. See that image of you in the heavenly Holy of Holies, that spiritual hologram standing there before the throne of God with no sickness, no disease and no debts, victorious over all the enemies of God and of your soul. It will suddenly take on substance as you begin to say, “That’s mine. I lay hold of it. I claim it. Bless God forever!” Where does that kind of Faith and determination come from? Proverbs 4:20-22, AMPC, says: “My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings. Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.”
Go to Romans 12:2-3, AMPC:
- Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
- For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of Faith apportioned by God to him.
Now look at John 13:33-35, AMPC. Remember, this kind of Faith we’re talking about only works by Love, so since Jesus made it a commandment, make the decision to make it priority: “[Dear] little children, I am to be with you only a little longer. You will look for Me and, as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: you are not able to come where I am going. I give you a new commandment: that you should Love one another. Just as I have Loved you, so you too should Love one another. By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you Love one another [if you keep on showing Love among yourselves].”
And finally, look at Galatians 5:6, AMPC, where Jesus’ words were confirmed by the Apostle Paul: “For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only Faith activated and energized and expressed and working through Love.”
Faith only works by LOVE and, yes, GOD IS LOVE. And it’s His Faith within us that works through the covenant Faith of Abraham (Romans 4:1-12).
Remember God Loves you! We Love you, and Jesus is LORD!
