September 2018 Partner Letter

Dear Partner,

Let’s begin today by reading Deuteronomy 30:19-20:

  1. I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
  2. That thou mayest love The LORD thy God, and that thou
mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which The LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Notice in verse 19, the understood subject of the sentence is you. Read it like this: “Therefore you choose life, that both you and your seed may live.”

If you don’t make a choice, the devil will make one for you. THE BLESSING is received by faith. The curse is already there doing its best to come on you and overtake you. You made a choice, a decision, to receive Jesus as your LORD and Savior, otherwise you would not be a born-again believer today. God, our Father, has done His part. He sent Jesus to the cross. Jesus was made to be sin for us. And He was made a curse for us, so that THE BLESSING of Abraham might come on us gentiles. That’s THE BLESSING in verse 19.

It’s very easy to see and understand this truth when talking about the new birth, etc. But this same truth applies to everything in life—every day! Choices. Decisions. Faith or fear. I’ll say it again: If you don’t make a choice, one will be made for you. If you just follow your feelings, they will lead you right into the hands of the devil and the curse instead of Jesus and THE BLESSING. The pressure will push you toward giving up, and to just quit.

Quitting is not an option for a soldier in the army of The LORD! A few days ago, things just kept stacking up and piling up on me. Pressure came from every side, until I felt like I just can’t do this any longer. That’s when I had to make the choice. I began saying: “I choose to believe I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. I believe He has renewed my strength like an eagle. Therefore, I run and I’m not weary. I walk and don’t faint. I choose to believe that He bore my griefs and sickness and pains. I choose to believe that He bore my sins in His own body on the tree so that I’m dead to sin, and I live unto righteousness. I choose to believe that by His stripes I was healed. I choose to believe I’m strong in The LORD and in the power of His might.”

I didn’t feel any different, but my decision was made. Then later, when that feeling of being overwhelmed came, I went over all the scriptures again and again—and then again. I noticed, however, that each time I went over those choices, the pressure got weaker, and I became stronger and stronger.

Every time you choose to believe the promises in God’s WORD, faith comes. Look up those verses and feed on them. Make them the last thing you think about before you go to sleep. Don’t go to sleep with worry on your mind. That’s sin! You’re the boss, not your mind. Take command. Your body is not the authority in your life. You are!

Take your stand before God with your Bible in your hand, and announce by faith: “I call heaven and earth to record this day that I choose to believe this WORD. I choose THE BLESSING! I choose life so that I, and my seed, may live!” Then open your Bible to the verses upon which you are standing: healing verses, prosperity verses, deliverance verses. Take the time to search The WORD, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you in putting your case together.

Let’s close with the written guarantee for victory.

1 John 5:14-15 says:

  1. And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
  2. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

If we ask anything according to His WORD, He hears us—and we have it! Then, faith! Believe it in your heart, and say it with your mouth: “God hears me. Jesus hears me. The Holy Spirit hears me. I’ve been heard. It’s mine, now! You are finished here, satan. Flee now!”

As you sow your BLESSING SEED this month, hold your offering in your hand. Place your finger on James 4:7, and then 1 John 4:4, and make the faith command: “satan, take your hand off my finances. I submit myself to God, and I resist you in the Name of Jesus.”

“Thank You, Greater One, for rising up in me and backing my choices with Your great power. I CHOOSE JESUS!”

James 4:7:

  1. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1 John 4:4:

  1. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Only The LORD Jesus knows how much you are loved and held in high esteem in this entire ministry—not just by Gloria and me. You are in our hearts and minds every day!

Love,

Ken
