September 2017 Partner Letter

Dear Partner,

I want to begin this letter by telling you how much Gloria and I love you. She and I were praying for you in the spirit this morning, and a very special anointing came to BLESS and hold you up before the throne of grace. You are prayed for every day by more than 400 KCM and Eagle Mountain International Church staff members. Whether you know it or not, you are someone special around here!

Let’s go back to some of the most important, if not the most important, scriptures in the Bible: Mark 11:23-25. It is Jesus’ detailed teaching on the faith of God and how it works. Think for a moment just how important that is.

Look at Romans 4:16:

  1. Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.

Remember: No faith—no GRACE.

Hebrews 11:6 says:

  1. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without faith. Romans 4:16 is very clear why. Grace is His desire to treat you and me as if sin had never happened. Faith is the substance, the divine connector to things hoped for.

Now look at Mark 11:20-21:

  1. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
  2. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.

Jesus responded in verse 22 by saying, “Have faith in God.”

“But, Brother Copeland, I need healing.”

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD!”

“Sir, my finances are a mess.”

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD!”

“What about the mess the country is in?”

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD!”

“But my children…”

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD!”

“My marriage…”

“HAVE FAITH IN GOD!”

Let’s look at three very important verses of Scripture: Romans 10:17; Romans 12:3; Ephesians 2:8.

Romans 10:17 says:

  1. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by The WORD of God.

Then notice that Romans 12:3 says God has dealt to every born-again believer the measure of faith. When? When he accepted Jesus as his Savior (Ephesians 2:8). How? Faith came by hearing and hearing by The WORD of GOD (Romans 10:17). Every one of us received the same measure of God’s faith. Do you need more faith? No. The faith you already have needs to grow. The same is true in the natural realm. I don’t need more muscles. I need to develop and strengthen the ones I have. Muscle strength comes from proper diet and exercise.

Jesus said in Matthew 4:4:

  1. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

God’s WORD is to your inner man what natural food is to your physical body. James 1:22 says:

  1. But be ye doers of The WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Acting on The WORD of God is to your faith what exercise is to your muscles. Both the spirit man and the natural body’s development depend directly on time and effort. NO ONE can develop the physical body on a sugar-filled diet and no exercise. NO ONE! No one can develop strong faith on a diet of secular TV—especially while going to a church where nothing is preached that will feed your faith. Someone said the reason why so many Christians are so weak is because they feed their bodies three hot meals a day and their spirits only one cold snack a week.

This is especially true when someone is fighting for his or her life. But, there is a guaranteed result in Mark 11:24-25.

Let’s look at it:

  1. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
  2. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

The Son of the living GOD said that! However, it depends on verse 23:

  1. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

No one, I mean NO ONE, can come to that disease-overpowering moment on these statements without devoting TIME and EFFORT to the healing scriptures. The guarantee is written in Proverbs 4:20-22:

  1. My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
  2. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
  3. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

As Gloria has said so many times in Healing School: “You can double and triple the dose, and the side effects are marvelous!”

“But, Brother Copeland, you don’t understand my situation.”

No, I don’t. But I do know this: If you want it badly enough, if you’re desperate enough, you’ll find the time by cutting everything else out. You’ll lay aside all the unnecessary stuff and totally immerse yourself in the healing scriptures, until faith cometh. When it does, and it will, the miraculous happens. Glory to God!

The same is true in the financial realm. Just how badly do you want to be debt free? Then, what are you doing between 3:00 and 4:30 in the morning? Get up and read prosperity verses for an hour, pray in the spirit for 30 minutes, and then go back to bed. Your spirit man never sleeps. Put him to bed on the sure promises of God, and get him up with praise and worship that you’re free!

We read James 1:22. Now let’s read verse 25:

  1. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The WORD is called the “PERFECT LAW OF LIBERTY.” The perfect law. Jesus said in John 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE”!

There is another law that is always present. To reap a harvest, seed must be sown. As you sow your financial seed this month, NAME IT. Then read Galatians 6:6-9:

  1. Let him that is taught in The WORD communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
  2. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
  3. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
  4. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Hold that seed in your hand and bathe it with praise and worship. Water it. It’ll grow up and become greater, and greater, and greater, until you’re sitting under the shade of it, totally well and entire, wanting nothing. Grace is abounding! GET IN IT!

Gloria and I love you. You’re like our very own family—our children in The LORD.

BE BLESSED, dear ones.

Ken

P.S. SOW IT FORWARD! Be a blessing. Pass this letter on to a family member or friend.
