Dear Partner,
It’s springtime, and the Fort Worth public schools will break for summer on May 22. That’s all well and good for children. We, however, don’t get a summer break from life. Our lives actually begin every morning when we open our eyes for the day. The LORD revealed to Gloria and me, many years ago, that words, just before we go to sleep and first words when we wake up, are vitally important! I say to Gloria, “Good night, my Love.” Then I say, “I Love The LORD my God with all my heart, my soul, my mind and my strength. I Love my neighbor as myself, fulfilling all the Law and the prophets.” Jesus said in John 13:34-35, “I give you a new commandment that you should Love one another just I have Loved you.” Let’s look at this in the Amplified Bible, Classic Edition:
- I give you a new commandment: that you should Love one another. Just as I have Loved you, so you too should Love one another.
- By this shall all [men] know that you are My disciples, if you Love one another [if you keep on showing Love among yourselves].
This morning, and every morning, I declare: “This is my receiving day. One day closer to the Resurrection!” For us, that sets the day up for victory in our lives. It is written in the First Covenant in Psalm 118:24-25, AMPC:
- This is the day which The LORD has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
- Save now, we beseech You, O LORD; send now prosperity, O LORD, we beseech You, and give to us success!
“Brother Copeland, I don’t have time in the morning to go over all those scriptures.” OK, write them down, and place them somewhere so you will be able to put them before your eyes, and then in your heart so you can say them in faith every day. Then say, “LORD, I’ll have a very prosperous day today because You will see to it and make it happen, according to Your Blood covenant promise. I believe that! It’s mine. I have it now, in the Name of Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve!”
Now let’s go to the words the Master said in Matthew 6:33-34. Let’s read it in the AMPC:
- But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
- So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.
Glory to God! His Kingdom and His way of doing things! Doing things His way, and not our own, takes all the stress from off our shoulders and builds real Bible hope and expectancy. Now look at Hebrews 11:1, AMPC:
- Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
The title deed! So that means, whatever you need, you now own it!
“Aww, I know that, but last year….”
“STOP! Last year is history—good or bad. It’s dead and gone. The great Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:14, AMPC:
- I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.
GOD, IN CHRIST JESUS, IS CALLING US UPWARD! Wait a minute. According to Ephesians 3:6, AMPC:
- [It is this:] that the Gentiles are now to be fellow heirs [with the Jews], members of the same body and joint partakers [sharing] in the same divine promise in Christ through [their acceptance of] the glad tidings (the Gospel).
We are already there. These exceeding and great Blood-backed promises and facts are ratified in the sinless blood of our LORD and Savior, Christ Jesus! The bottom line is this: We have seven wonderful months ahead. Months of walking by faith and not by sight. According to 2 Corinthians 5:7, AMPC:
- For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.
That’s the way, dear Partner, we regulate our lives—not ever by our feelings! I have actually had wonderful born-again, Spirit-filled people say to me, “I just don’t feel like The LORD heard me when I prayed!” First John 5:14 in the AMPC says
- And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.
That’s good, but now read verse 15 in the AMPC:
- And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.
I’ll close with this from Romans 8:14-18, AMPC:
- For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
- For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father!
- The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
- And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
- [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!
WE HAVE BEEN ADOPTED BY JESUS’ VERY OWN FATHER, and He is rich, rich, and very rich! He is the Creator of all things! Remember these wonderful things as you sow your BLESSING seed this month. In Genesis 17:1, our heavenly Father said:
- And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, The LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Look at verses 1-2 in the AMPC:
- When Abram was ninety-nine years old, The LORD appeared to him and said, I am the Almighty God; walk and live habitually before Me and be perfect (blameless, wholehearted, complete).
- And I will make My covenant (solemn pledge) between Me and you and will multiply you exceedingly.
The God of more than enough! Now look at Galatians 3:29 in the AMPC:
- And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham’s Seed], then you are Abraham’s offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.
We are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise!
Don’t forget that you are prayed for every day. I pray for you at every meal. Remember, God Loves You, we Love you, and Jesus is LORD!
Love,
