Dear Partner,

Here it is, March already. The seasons are changing, but our God never changes. What is the definition of a power of attorney? It is “the authority to act for another person in specified or all legal or financial matters.” Now let’s go to The BOOK and look at an example of the above definition. Acts 3:1-7, Amplified Bible, Classic Edition:
- Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour (three o’clock in the afternoon), [when] a certain man crippled from his birth was being carried along, who was laid each day at that gate of the temple [which is] called Beautiful, so that he might beg for charitable gifts from those who entered the temple. So when he saw Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked them to give him a gift. And Peter directed his gaze intently at him, and so did John, and said, Look at us! And [the man] paid attention to them, expecting that he was going to get something from them. But Peter said, Silver and gold (money) I do not have; but what I do have, that I give to you: in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk! Then he took hold of the man’s right hand with a firm grip and raised him up. And at once his feet and ankle bones became strong and steady.
There it is. Read verse 6 again: “in [the use of] the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!” What happened then? Continue reading verse 8 in the AMPC: “And leaping forth he stood and began to walk, and he went into the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.”
The Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth had, and still has, the same power as it did before He was crucified. So let’s look first in Hebrews 1:1-4: “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by The WORD of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high: being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”
No. 1: Jesus inherited His Name when He was raised from the dead and sat down at the Father’s right hand.
No. 2: Philippians 2:8-11, AMPC: “And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross! Therefore [because He stooped so low] God has highly exalted Him and has freely bestowed on Him the name that is above every name, that in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue [frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.”
No. 3: Ephesians 1:19-21, AMPC: “And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places], far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.”
By reading these scriptures, you can see that the wonderful Name of Jesus has been passed down through the ages to the “Church of the living God” to use as a weapon. Ephesians 6:10, AMPC, says, “In conclusion, be strong in The LORD [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].”
Wow! “That strength which His boundless might provides.” MIGHT means “POWER and ability.” Second Peter 2:11, AMPC, says: “Whereas [even] angels, though superior in might and power, do not bring a defaming charge against them before The LORD.” What? Angels? “Superior in MIGHT and POWER.” Let’s return to Acts 4:9-12, AMPC:
- If we are being put on trial [here] today and examined concerning a good deed done to benefit a feeble (helpless) cripple, by what means this man has been restored to health, let it be known and understood by all of you, and by the whole house of Israel, that in the name and through the power and authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Whom you crucified, [but] Whom God raised from the dead, in Him and by means of Him this man is standing here before you well and sound in body. This [Jesus] is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [the Cornerstone]. And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.
“IN THE NAME, AND THROUGH THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH….” This opens the door to a deeper revelation of the authority of the believer. Praise God! “There is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved”! How do we know that? Turn in your Bibles with me to Romans 10:6-9 in the KJV.
- But the righteousness which is of Faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, The WORD of Faith, which we preach; that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Now we’re back to Philippians 2:10, talking about The NAME above all names. Let’s not stop reading there! Now look at and shout about Romans 10:11-13 in the AMPC: “The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed. [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same LORD is LORD over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in Faith]. For everyone who calls upon the name of The LORD [invoking Him as LORD] will be saved.”
Who said it (verse 11)? “The Scripture says.” Now let’s look at the scripture that said it first. Look at Isaiah 28:18, AMPC: “And your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol (the place of the dead) shall not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through, then you will be trodden down by it.
“OUR COVENANT WITH DEATH SHALL BE ANNULLED!” How did that happen? Let’s check out Peter’s message on the Day of Pentecost. He said in Acts 2:22-28, AMPC:
- You men of Israel, listen to what I have to say: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man accredited and pointed out and shown forth and commended and attested to you by God by the mighty works and [the power of performing] wonders and signs which God worked through Him [right] in your midst, as you yourselves know—This Jesus, when delivered up according to the definite and fixed purpose and settled plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and put out of the way [killing Him] by the hands of lawless and wicked men. [But] God raised Him up, liberating Him from the pangs of death, seeing that it was not possible for Him to continue to be controlled or retained by it. For David says in regard to Him, I saw The LORD constantly before me, for He is at my right hand that I may not be shaken or overthrown or cast down [from my secure and happy state]. Therefore my heart rejoiced and my tongue exulted exceedingly; moreover, my flesh also will dwell in hope [will encamp, pitch its tent, and dwell in hope in anticipation of the resurrection]. For You will not abandon my soul, leaving it helpless in Hades (the state of departed spirits), nor let Your Holy One know decay or see destruction [of the body after death]. You have made known to me the ways of life; You will enrapture me [diffusing my soul with joy] with and in Your presence.
He inherited His Name. What? Here we are in Philippians 2:9 again! His Name was exalted above every name that was named—by right of conquest. Let’s look at Colossians 2:13-15, AMPC: “And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This [note with its regulations, decrees, and demands] He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to [His] cross.[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross].”
When you and I pray in His Name, it’s as if Jesus Himself were praying or endorsing our prayers, as in John 6:22-23. We’ll close with, you guessed it: Mark 11:22-25. Praise God forevermore! A “Heavenly Grant.” That, my dear Partner, is a whole lot better than any government grant! So whatever your needs, wants or desires that do not cross His holy WORD, write out a Heavenly Grant and sign it: “Father, in the Name of Jesus, which is above every name that is named, we need to be debt free because it is written in Romans 13:8, AMPC: ‘Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to Love one another; for he who Loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements]’; and Deuteronomy 28:11, AMPC: which says, ‘And The LORD shall make you have a surplus of prosperity, through the fruit of your body, of your livestock, and of your ground, in the land which The LORD swore to your fathers to give you.’”
Just as it says in 3 John 2 (AMPC): “[Partner], I pray that you prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers”!
Now 1 John 5:14-15, AMPC: “And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.”
What makes the power of attorney so powerful? It depends on the power and strength behind it. Your and my heavenly power of attorney is backed by the Creator of the universe. Hebrews 2:9-15, AMPC, says:
- But we are able to see Jesus, Who was ranked lower than the angels for a little while, crowned with glory and honor because of His having suffered death, in order that by the grace (unmerited favor) of God [to us sinners] He might experience death for every individual person. For it was an act worthy [of God] and fitting [to the divine nature] that He, for Whose sake and by Whom all things have their existence, in bringing many sons into glory, should make the Pioneer of their salvation perfect [should bring to maturity the human experience necessary to be perfectly equipped for His office as High Priest] through suffering. For both He Who sanctifies [making men holy] and those who are sanctified all have one [Father]. For this reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren; for He says, I will declare Your [the Father’s] name to My brethren; in the midst of the [worshiping] congregation I will sing hymns of praise to You. And again He says, My trust and assured reliance and confident hope shall be fixed in Him. And yet again, Here I am, I and the children whom God has given Me. Since, therefore, [these His] children share in flesh and blood [in the physical nature of human beings], He [Himself] in a similar manner partook of the same [nature], that by [going through] death He might bring to nought and make of no effect him who had the power of death—that is, the devil—and also that He might deliver and completely set free all those who through the [haunting] fear of death were held in bondage throughout the whole course of their lives.
If you could only choose one book to read, other than the Bible, read The Wonderful Name of Jesus by E.W. Kenyon. Not very many people have his books. What I have written to you in this letter is more than most Christians have ever heard. That’s the main reason so many are failing in life. Most Christian failure is a prayer failure. You and I, however, can change that. How? More teaching on the Name of Jesus at KCBC, and then taking the time to read our own KCM books about the names of God and what they mean.
“The Name of The LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe” (Proverbs 18:10)! Now go to James 5:14-15, in the AMPC: “Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders (the spiritual guides). And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in The LORD’s name. And the prayer [that is] of Faith will save him who is sick, and The LORD will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.”
As we talked about last time, Ephesians 4:16, AMPC, says: “For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in Love.” This is the scripture that The LORD gave us on which to base our Faith for one million Partners! So, my dear Partner, you are “one in a million”!
Always remember you are prayed for every day by our KCM staff, our intercessors and our entire family. I personally pray for you, spirit, soul, body and financially before every meal I eat and before flights in any airplane, according to the 91st Psalm.
God Loves you, we Love you, and Jesus is LORD!
