Kenneth Copeland Ministries Canada is hiring IT and Web Support. We are looking for a candidate who has strong technical and customer service skills as well as the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

The individual in this role will work on a wide range of technical and soft skills to support the IT and Partner Development department.

This position is not a remote job and you will be required to work on site as well as be part of organization events and conferences in person. If you live outside BC, you will need to move closer to the office in Langley, BC.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices around the office
  • Debug/QA testing
  • Work with IT Lead to make sure our CRM is working smoothly for the team
  • Update and maintain WordPress websites
  • Work with the PD Manager and graphic designers to make sure the email design is properly converted to HTML format before it can be sent out using ESP
  • Work closely with PD Team to make sure the backend side for Landing Pages are set up properly so that traffic and conversion can be tracked
  • Help resolving issues for Zoho
  • Assist in development and testing of apps for Zoho
  • Explore other applications and find new solutions to various issues
  • Share ideas and provide feedback on how to improve current website and workflow
  • Research new technology trends and find ways to implement them in the Ministry

 

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with IT support, web and/or software development

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to use YouTube, Google, and Chat GPT to resolve issues, create solutions, learn new skills, and grow existing skills.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and TCP/IP
  • Familiarity with remote access tools and protocols
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely
  • Familiarity in front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Knowledge of web application security best practices
  • Understanding of APIs and RESTful web services
  • Some experience in Full Stack Development
  • Working knowledge with any of these programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, PHP, or Java
  • Working knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with WordPress

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies
  • Experience developing visual language, concept sketches, presentation decks and style guides
  • Experience shooting and editing videos for social media and web
  • Solid understanding of current social media such as Instagram and TikToc
  • The ability to communicate clearly with good organizational and planning skills
  • Team player, open to feedback, master of multitasking, can work under tight, demanding deadlines.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Online portfolio that demonstrates user-centred design solutions with strong visual and interaction design skills that includes mobile apps and responsive websites.

  • Work experience in a Christian ministry or church
