Kenneth Copeland Ministries Canada is hiring an Accountant.
Under the direction of the Executive Administrative Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day full cycle accounting, be responsible for completing month-end reconciliations and prepare the quarterly financial report for the Executive Director.

This position is not a remote job and you will be required to work on site as well as be part of organization events and conferences in person. If you live outside BC, you will need to move closer to the office in Langley, BC.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee bookkeeping duties which include AP, deposits, JE, etc
- Prepare/post required journal entries to close books at month end
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts at month end
- Assist with the year-end audit
- Prepare remittances for GST
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Conduct monthly variance analysis between accounting software and CRM
- Prepare and manage Canadian Ministry Budget
- Gather, prepare and review Canadian Ministry Financial Reports quarterly
- Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures and applicable laws of Canada
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- University Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- CPA qualification or pursuit of CPA qualification considered an asset
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role, experience with not-for-profits an asset
- Good working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel
