February 2025 Partner Letter

Dear Partner,

Let’s begin by reading what Jesus’ half brother, James (Matthew 13:55), said in Chapter 1, verses 13-17, of his book:

  • Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

As you know, I came into this world on Dec. 6, 1936. I had no idea that my “good and perfect gift” had come into this world until Oct. 8, 1961, when I met Gloria Jean Neece, who was born in Center Point, Ark., on the 12th day of this month in 1942. Six months later, we were married. Six months after that, both of us were born again.

Then, in January 1963, we stepped through the door to the supernatural when we were filled to overflowing with, and by, the Holy Spirit of the living God and speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave us utterance. In January 1967, I enrolled at Oral Roberts University—the “good and perfect” plan for our lives!

Now, here we are, 58 years later, thanks to you and our Partners here in the USA and around the world, still preaching the uncompromised WORD of faith according to Romans 10:6-17:

  1. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
  2. Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
  3. But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, The WORD of faith, which we preach;
  4. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth The LORD Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
  5. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
  6. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
  7. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
  8. For whosoever shall call upon the name of The LORD shall be saved.
  9. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
  10. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
  11. But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, LORD, who hath believed our report?
  12. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by The WORD of God.

Now let’s unpack some of these precious Blood-backed promises and facts.

Look at verse 6. It says righteousness which is of faith speaks! Verse 8 says, “But what saith it? The WORD is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, The WORD of faith, which we preach.”

Faith must be in two places: First, it must be in your heart and, second, it must be in your mouth. “The WORD of faith which we preach” equals what we just read in Romans 10:13-14. Look at it again:

  • For whosoever shall call upon the name of The LORD shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

They can’t!

Gloria and I have been preaching this “gospel of peace” and “glad tidings of good things” for 58 years. How? We have been sent and anointed by the Spirit of the living GOD! And we have been “sent” financially BY OUR PARTNERS, who are to me and to this ministry “gifts from on high.” Think about it. Because of you, dear Partner, and many more faithful Partners all over the world, faith has come by hearing, and hearing by The WORD of God—literally from “the top of the world to the bottom and all the way around the middle.

Years ago, on a three-week tour across Canada, I was invited to preach so far north that the town had no name. Just south of the North Pole, it was known by the world map coordinates simply as “Top of the World.” This letter will be sent to our Partners in Australia (the bottom). It will also be sent to our Partners in the Solomon Islands and Lagos, Nigeria, both located on the equator, which is “all the way around the middle.”

Now, let’s go back to James 1 and look at verses 1-8 in the AMPC.

  1. James, a servant of God and of The LORD Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes scattered abroad [among the Gentiles in the dispersion]: Greetings (rejoice)!
  2. Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.
  3. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.
  4. But let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that you may be [people] perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing.
  5. If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.
  6. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
  7. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from The LORD,
  8. [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

A “double-minded man,” then, is a “man of two minds.” Let’s go, now, to Proverbs 4:7, AMPC, in the First Covenant:

  1. The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skillful and godly Wisdom)! [For skillful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).

The wisdom of God! This, dear Partner, is huge! In fact it is the bottom line of this letter. For 2025 to be alive for us all, we must have, and act, on the wisdom of our God! Jeremiah 10:12 is a snapshot of His wisdom! The AMPC says, “God made the earth by His power; He established the world by His wisdom and by His understanding and skill stretched out the heavens.”

He made the earth by His power! However, power without wisdom is either nonproductive or, in the case of humans, dangerous! But according to 1 John 4:8, He is Love. So, Love’s wisdom created all things with His power. First Corinthians 1:27-30, in the New Covenant says,

  • But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: that no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.

Now, look at Chapter 2:4 (AMPC):

  1. And my language and my message were not set forth in persuasive (enticing and plausible) words of wisdom, but they were in demonstration of the [Holy] Spirit and power [a proof by the Spirit and power of God, operating on me and stirring in the minds of my hearers the most holy emotions and thus persuading them].

Why? Verses 5-8 (AMPC) give us the answer:

  1. So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God.
  2. Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away
  3. But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God—[that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].
  4. None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified The LORD of glory.

“So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men (human philosophy), but in the power of God,” who is Love. He doesn’t have Love, He IS Love!

Now, that brings us to Colossians 1:9-11, scriptures we pray continually for our Partners. They are among those that appear at the bottom of each of my Partner Letters.

  1. For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
  2. That ye might walk worthy of The LORD unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
  3. Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

This is so GOOD!

Strengthened with all might according to what? His glorious power—giving thanks!

Remember, when we pray, we come into His presence. But when we praise Him, He enters into our presence. Over the last 50 years, I have learned that when, and if, we praise Him long enough, the spirit of worship will come. His glory will fall, and that’s when the miracles happen! Jesus doesn’t change. As Hebrews 13:8 says, He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Hebrews 11:1-3, AMPC, says, “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report. By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by The WORD of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.”

As you sow your BLESSING seed, take the time to listen to His voice of wisdom and understanding of scriptures like 3 John 2, AMPC, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.”

That is my prayer for you, as well. Always remember this:

God Loves you, we Love you, and Jesus is LORD!

PS. You are, by faith, “One in a Million”!
